Nothing To It: an eveing of itty bitty witty ditties

On Saturday, May 3, 2008 the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts presented "Nothing To IT: an evening of itty bitty witty ditties" at the Lyndall Finley Wortham Theatre of the University of Houston in celebration of 25 years of The Art Guys' collaboration.

"Nothing To It" was a selection of performances culled from a larger body of works that have been presented in many different venues throughout the United States. Most of the pieces that will were presented are works by The Art Guys while the others are pieces by other artists. Additionally, "Nothing To It" featured two world premiere works presented for the very first time.

The version of "Future Music" that appeared as part of this performance was the third time this piece has been performed. Like the two other prior performances of "Future Music," a postcard was included in the evening's program (pictured below) which was given to each audience member which read:

"Using the front of this postcard, describe very briefly a sound you hear on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 5:10 p.m. CST On the front of this postcard, please state you location a the moment you observe this sound (street address, etc.) and return the card to The Art Guys.
