Curatorial statement
The concept of "domesticity" has long been rife territory for artists.  Vanitas paintings used everyday objects to highlight the brevity of life.  In a world of never-degrading plastics and indelible ones and zeroes, the simple ingredients that make up life are nothing but. These artists reference home and domesticity, blending humor and critique.
